Comprehensive Psychological Services is staffed by Sara J. Cornell, Psy.D., CFRC, CMHIMP, CCTP. Dr. Cornell has been in a solo private practice for the past 13 years. She was previously employed in private practice as well as several outpatient community-based agencies and organizations.
Graduating in 1993 from Penn State University with a B.A. in Sociology, Dr. Cornell graduated in 1997 from Chestnut Hill College with an M.S. in Counseling and Human Services, and in 1999 with an M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She received a Psy.D. in 2004 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Cornell obtained a PA Psychologist License in 2007.
Costs per session vary depending on the type(s) of services requested. In general, costs range from $70 to $230 per session. These costs can be paid by American Express, Cash, Check, Discover, Health Savings Account, Insurance, MasterCard, Paypal, or Visa.
We do accept some insurance plans for counseling and psychotherapy. It is the client’s responsibility to check with their insurance company to determine any costs associated with treatment including deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurances. All fees must be paid at the time of service. Other services cannot be billed to insurance and will require payment at the time of service.
We offer a sliding scale fee schedule for those who are uninsured and wish to engage in counseling or psychotherapy.
In addition, we offer subscription plans for those who wish to budget a set fee per month for a variety of services. These plans range from $40 – $70/week payable on a monthly basis, depending on services desired.
